Meet the Faculty

Holly Powell – Studio Director

Holly Powell started her love for dance at the young age of 3. By the time she was 12 years old, she had already competed in numerous competitions/conventions which allowed her to be crowned Dancer of the Year (DOTY) at Rainbow Connection Nationals in 2009. This allowed her the opportunity to travel to Australia with 3 other American representatives to compete internationally. Her passion for dance continued to grow as she focused her studies in many different styles of dance including jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz-funk, heels, and tap. At 18, Holly joined the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader for 2 NFL Season and continued her professional career in LA. There, she worked in film, live performances with Pitbull, Jason Derulo, & more artist, music videos, and toured with Step One Dance Company on Holland America Cruise Line. Now, Holly is a lake local who is ready to take all her experience and knowledge to teach young dancers how to build the confidence to believe anything is possible and that they can achieve their dreams with hard work.

“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.”

Blayre Pauley – Dance Instructor

I danced for 15 years growing up, starting at age 3 when I absolutely fell in love with the “older girls” dancing during a Beauty and the Beast recital. My favorite styles were always contemporary, lyrical and ballet. When I was in high school, I was a member of HDX Dance Team at Helias Catholic High School for all 3 years that I attended. I have coached the Capital City High School dance team for one year.

“My main goal is to spread a love of dance to everyone in my classes!”
